Claire Wakefield
Claire lives in Lawrence, KS with her 2 crazy dogs, Cowboy Boone and Reno - both started as foster dogs from the Lawrence Humane Society.
She earned a degree in Visual Arts from KU with a focus on drawing and printmaking. While she has continued to draw over the years since graduating, she has also been busy working with a whole lot of animals. Currently, Claire is working as a horse trainer in Lawrence and the surrounding area.
However, art has remained a love and a passion, and she has been looking for ways to share her artwork with the world. Thanks to the amazing people at ACME, Claire is starting to transfer her art onto t-shirts! She only has a few designs up so far, but keep coming back - Claire plans to continue adding designs as often as she can.

My first ever foray into drawing these guys. Inspired by a friend much braver than I, who has 36 (!!!) tarantulas at home, and who apparently loves every one of them.
